ABOUT ME:

My journalism career dates back to my qualifying and working as a high school English teacher in Johannesburg in the early 80s. I subsequently moved into the corporate world, where I wrote and edited product related articles for PR companies. After moving to Cape Town and raising three independent children, I channelled my energies into furthering my personal and journalistic interests.

Much of my time was given to spearheading community upliftment projects, for which I wrote monthly newspaper articles. Many of my other stories have also been published in magazines and our local community newspaper.

After developing a fascination for intriguing tales from yesteryear, I’ve gained extensive experience in documenting the past by dedicating the last five years to writing personal life-stories and corporate histories.

I have a passion for recollecting bygone events warmly and creatively, and take pride in producing accurate, professionally written books which both honour and preserve the integrity of people, events and history.
